Located south-east of the city of Cat Ba, Lan Ha Bay is made up of about 300 limestone islands. From a geological point of view, the bay is a part of the Ha Long Bay. Lan Ha Bay has crystal clear water, limestone islands and an equally as beautiful panorama as Ha Long Bay. Lan Ha is quite far from the bay of Ha Long and also far from the tourist circuits. The bay is home to around 400 species of arthropods, 500 species of molluscs and 200 species of fish.

Suggested activities:

- Cruise excursion to visit more beautiful caves on the bay. Overnight in a junk boat.
- Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking in the caves
- Visiting floating villages on the bay
- Enjoying dinner on the beach with candles, flowers and classical music

3 days - 2 nights Cruise itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha

Departure to Halong Bay, on the road youcan enjoy the beauty of the green paddy fields. Arriving at Halong Bay around noon, you will be welcomed on board in the junk cruise to prepare for a wonderful exploration of the bay.

With the tour guide, you will have a completely different discovery itinerary from other programs so that you can avoid the places of mass tourism. We leave the coast where always crowded with hundreds of tourists to navigate in untouched places along the border between Halong Bay and Lan Ha. The junk crosses the floating villages and beautiful beaches at low tide. After a delicious meal with seafood served by the professional Chef, the cruise will stop at Hang Ca cave (also called: Sang Toi), an ideal place for a kayaking, swimming or basking on a pristine beach.

Back to the cruise for the evening. The junk cruise will anchor near Trinh Nu cave. Enjoy your overnight stay in a private cabin for a comfortable experience.

Day 2: Discovery Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay

After a relaxing night, you will wake up to the sweet sound of fishing boats. On the deck of the junk, you will admire the hidden beauty in the morning mist. The cruise sails to the floating village of Vung Vieng, a part of Bai Tu Long Bay. Then you will visit the pristine beach of Vung Ha by kayak for 2 hours (those who do not want to go kayaking can take a bamboo boat trip instead). Free time for swimming with a delicious lunch on the beach awaits. After a short rest we will go fishing on a traditional boat, together with local fishermen. Dinner will be served on board with the seafood selected by youself!

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

After a romantic night on the cruise, breakfast will be served in the cabin and then you will continue our exploration by discovering the beauty and charm of the bay with its intact beaches, small caves and floating villages where people fish different types of fishes: squids, buckets, mussels, crabs, crabs, groupers. You will stop at Me Cung cave to admire a beautiful cave full of stalactites and stalagmites. At about 11:30 the junk returns to the pier and then you depart to Hanoi.
